How to backup your WordPress MySQL database from cPanel

It is very important to always keep backups of your website and database. Maybe you are testing new things or want to update the latest version of a theme or plugin or simply migrate the website from one host to another. Whatever the reason is you can take a backup of your WordPress MySQL database from cPanel, here’s how you can do this:

  1. Log in to your cPanel
  2. Click on “Backup” under the Files section:

3. Under the section “Download a MySQL Database Backup”, click on the database you would like to backup:

4. You can use the “Restore a MySQL Database Backup” option to restore this database.
